1. What to Expect
The Love in the Air event at Gatlinburg SkyPark celebrates the joys of Valentine’s Day throughout February with all kinds of special features! The Gatlinburg Skybridge, the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America, is “covered in love” with Valentine’s Day-themed lights. Once the sun goes down, the world-famous bridge shines with thousands of pink lights so have your camera ready to capture some of the most incredible photos of your vacation! The event also features live caricatures from Knoxville Party Clown on select weekends in February from noon to 3 PM! In addition, on each Friday in February, a few lucky guests visiting the SkyPark can win a Surprise and Delight Prize Pack with fun souvenirs to take home!
2. Dates, Times, and Location
The Gatlinburg SkyBridge will be illuminated every night beginning February 1, 2025, until the end of the month, giving couples plenty of time to experience the most romantic evening in the Smoky Mountains! Gatlinburg SkyPark is open from 9 AM to 7 PM on Sundays to Thursdays, and from 9 AM to 9 PM on Fridays and Saturdays throughout February. Note that the park will be closed from February 3-6 for annual maintenance. To access the Gatlinburg SkyPark, simply take the Gatlinburg SkyLift (yellow chairlift ride) that departs from downtown Gatlinburg between traffic lights 6 and 8.
3. Ticket Information
The tickets for Gatlinburg SkyPark include all park access, so there is no extra fee to attend the “Love is in the Air” event! The best ticket deal is the SkyPass, which includes unlimited all-day access to the SkyPark and a skip-the-line feature! Come to the top of Crockett Mountain during the daylight hours to soak in the spectacular Smoky Mountain scenery, then return at night to see the twinkling pink lights of the “Love is in the Air” event! If you only have a limited amount of time or only want to go up the mountain once, there is also a Single Visit ticket available for one roundtrip experience. Note that there are reduced ticket prices available for groups of 20 or more with advance reservations, seniors (65+), and juniors (ages 6 to 11). Children 5 and under are admitted to the SkyPark for free! There are also special rates for tickets purchased on-site for members of the United States military, first responders, and local Sevier County residents
